DIGITAL SAT

Catch the basics

Who will first take this test in the U.S.??

Class of 2025

How can I practice or prepare??

  • Test Prep sessions with Satellite Prep

  • Download “Bluebook” on the collegeboard site

  • Khan Academy Digital SAT site

What will change??

  • The test will be only 2 hours instead of 3

  • Reading Passages are shorter

  • Calculator can be used for all Math

  • Only two sections instead of four

  • The test is adaptive**

  • More flexible test dates

  • Student will bring his/her own laptop or tablet to school to take the test (or one will be provided)

What will stay the same?

  • The overall content will remain, only the formatting is different

  • Same scoring, 800 points per section, 1600 is top score

**Adaptive Test: roughly speaking, this means that the questions you receive on your second section will be based on how you do on the first section. The better you do, the harder the questions get. This is confusing and might seem unfair but it is not. It is the best way that allows the test to be shorter and yet still accurate.
